Angus and Julia Stone

Angus and Julia Stone are a brother-sister duo from Australia.....folky/singer-songwriter. With several EP's and a couple of albums behind them, they are getting some mainstream playtime. This is 'Paper Aeroplane' from their first EP Chocolates and Cigarettes. Also check out 'The Beast,' 'What You Wanted,' and 'Just A Boy' .....from various albums. They also direct a lot of their own videos, which I think are pretty interesting.....their YouTube channel.

Wild Mountain Nation

Blitzen Trapper has their entire latest album 'Destroyer of the Void' on their site for your listening pleasure. I am really liking this band right now and have been listening to them quite a bit. Make sure you check out 'Heaven and Earth,' 'The Man Who Would Speak True,' and 'Below the Hurricane.'

This is an old song from 'Wild Mountain Nation' which was released in 2007.

Very Cool Video

The Avett Brothers have released a video for 'Head Full of Doubt/Road Full of Promise.' The video was created by Ryan Mitcham. He altered a single painting 2,600 times!!! The video is up on NPR.

Florence and The Freaky Clowns

I have been completely delinquent in making post......but I'm back. I've been listening to Florence + the Machine for a while now. They are finally breaking into the mainstream with this little diddy...'Dog Days are Over.' If you like freaky clowns watch this version.
