Mumford and Sons Show

So, normally I don't write about shows I attend unless something is out of the ordinary...we all see shows, we all know what happens...but in this case something was. I was finally able to get tickets to a Mumford and Sons show, which I am still amazed that I got (both of their US tours have been sold out). I missed out on the first tour, so I was very excited about seeing them. I have to say the show was really good....better than I was expecting in some cases.

The part that was exceptional was a totally acoustic performance....all 4 guys, no mics, one guitar. Marcus asked all 8,000 of us to be quiet, which took some time, but was well worth it. They sang 'Timshel' and 'Sisters' in almost complete silence...it was quite awesome.
This is 'Timshel'...one of my faves

Wasn't that just freakin lovely...doesn't get much better

The set was also filled with songs off the latest album, some older and a lot of new songs...here are some of the new songs.

I looove this one.

They also met a local band, Seven Handle Circus that morning having brunch...what did they do?....invited them to come play in the fox between the opener and them...how nice can you be?
